Mindbody Moves Closer To IPO, Sets IPO Trading Range
San Luis Obispo-based Mindbody, which provides software-as-a-service that helps spas, yoga, and other health and wellness businesses to manage their appointments and clients, has set its IPO trading range, indicating a move closer to an IPO. Mindbody said in a filing this morning that it now expects its IPO to debut at between $13.00 and $15.00 per share. Mindbody is selling 7,150,000 share of its stock in its IPO, which would net $123.3M for the company if its prices at the high range. Companies in the IPO process will set an IPO trading range around the same time as they are on their institutional road show, to test interest from investors, before the actual pricing of the IPO. The company is venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Catalyst Investors, Institutional Venture Partners, W Capital Partners, and J.P. Morgan, along with the Tech Coast Angels, Frontera Capital, and the Pasadena Angels.
