Miso Robotics Signs Up Chipotle For Tortilla Chip Test

Los Angeles-based robot developer Miso Robotics has scored a high profile with with fast casual chain Chipotle, which said this morning that it is testing a version of Miso's kitchen robot, called "Chippy". According to Chipotle, it will pilot the use of "Chippy" at its innovation hub in Irvine, with plans to integrate the robot into a restaurant somewhere in Southern California later. Financial details of the win were not announced. Miso Robotics is best known for using its robot "Flippy" for cooking burgers and fries, and has a major deal with White Castle for fry preparation.
