Mobile Roadie Swizzles Pricing
Mobile software developer Mobile Roadie looks to be in the midst of an interesting transition, saying late last week that it is increasing its pricing, to "more closely match the value we are able to offer." Details of those pricing changes were not announced by the company. The firm said the move comes due to an increased amount of R&D, including the addition of enhanced analytics, new marketing campaigns such as polling & golden ticket, and iPhone 5 compatibility. Mobile Roadie did say it would not be changing pricing for existing customers of the product. The new plans start at $99 a month for iPhone and Android apps, and $299 a month for iPad Apps. The pricing structure changes aren't the first for the firm, which a few years ago dropped setup fees from its plans. Mobile Roadie provides software which makes it easy for non programmers to create their own, custom mobile applications and websites; the firm's products are used by a large number of musicians and bands.
