Molecular Assemblies Gets $2.3M
San Diego-based Molecular Assemblies, a startup developing enzymatic DNA synthesis technology, has raised $2.3M in a seed funding, the company announced this morning. The funding came from Agilent Technologies, Cavendish Impact Capital Fund, Eleven Two Capital, Keshif Ventures, Genomics Investment Syndicate, Newport Holdings, LP, and Alexandria Venture Investments. Molecular Assemblies--led by Michael J. Kamdar--said its technology is being targeted at use in the next generation of DNA-based products. More information »
