MSC Software Buys Simufact

Newport Beach-based simulation software developer MSC Software said this morning that it has acquired Simufact Engineering, a developer of simulation software used in welding and forming simulations. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. The two said that Simufact's software is used in the aerospace, automotive, and machinery industries. Simufact was based in Germany.
