MySocialCloud Acquired By Reputation.com

MySocialCloud, the Los Angeles startup developed by brother and sister Scott Ferreira and Stacey Ferreira, has been acquired by Reputation.com, the company is announcing today. MySocialCloud develops an online, cloud-based platform for managing the passwords, logins, and data of users. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.

MySocialCloud was funded by Richard Branson and Jerry Murdock, who made an investment in the startup while Scott Ferreira was still a student at the University of Southern California. According to Reputation.com, the strategic acquisition adds a valued platform, team, and new capability and customers to its portfolio. MySocialCloud also was backed by Alex Welch of Photobucket.
