MySpace Debuts Another Album Online
Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace.com has debuted another music online at its web service. The company has premiered "Lyla", a single released by the rock group Oasis. Oasis made the single available this week to music fans, streaming the single to users of MySpace.com as a preview to the release of a new Oasis CD in May. MySpace said that Oasis asnd Epic Records are using the service to tap into the company's network of blogs and networked music fans. Record and movie companies have increasingly looked to online promotion of new releases to increase the reach of their marketing efforts.
