MySpace Hires Security Head
In the midst of a media frenzy over MySpace.com, Fox Interactive said this morning that it has named a new, Chief Security Officer who will oversee safety, education, privacy, and law enforcement programs for the popular online social networking site. MySpace said that it has named Hemanshu Nigam as Chief Security Officer to oversee both MySpace and other Fox Interactive Media properties. Nigam was most recently Director of Consumer Security Outreach & Child Safe Computing at MIcrosoft, and also served as a Federal prosecutor against Internet child exploitation at the US Department of Justice.
