Napster Signs Corporate Partners
Los Angeles-based Napster (www.napster.com), the relaunched download service that is now a part of Roxio, has signed Citi and Energizer as corporate partners to its music download service. Citi and Energizer will create customized promotions based on Napster's legal music download service. Citi Cards will make download credits available to certain users of its college credit cards, and Energizer will include music download credits on its battery packs. Roxio purchased the rights to the Napster brand after Napster was sued into submission by the music industry.
