RelationEdge, Based In San Diego, Acquired By Rackspace
San Diego-based RelationEdge, a provider of Salesforce consulting and digital agency services, has been acquired by cloud service company Rackspace, Rackspace said on Thursday afternoon. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. EAT Club Buys Farm Hill
EAT Club, a startup which provides delivery of food to employees of high tech and other companies, said today that they've acquired Farm Hill and its personal meal business. EAT Club, which is based in the Bay Area, says that Los Angeles is one of its two primary markets. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Farm Hill was also based in the San Francisco area. Aerovironment Accused Of Covering Up Explosives On Commercial Airliner
Monrovia-based unmanned aerial vehicle maker Aerovironment has been accused of covering up an incident where its employees transported a drone, rigged with explosives, on a commercial flight, according to a report from Bloomberg. DataScience.com Acquired By Oracle
Culver City-based DataScience.com, a developer of data science software led by serial entrepreneur Ian Swanson, has been acquired by Oracle, the companies said on Wednesday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Oracle said it will add DataScience.com's platform to its Oracle Cloud, to allow its customers to "fully utilize" machine learning. CUJO AI Raises Series B Funding For Security Tools
El Segundo-based CUJO AI, a startup developing artificial intelligence software for detecting security attacks on consumer networking infrastructure, has raised a Series B funding round, the company said this morning. Size of the new round was not announced. According to CUJO AI, the funding was led by Charter Communications, and will go towards further development of its technology. HyreCar Expands Into Three New States
Los Angeles-based HyreCar, which operates a peer-to-peer car sharing service aimed at offering up vehicles for use by drivers for ridesharing services like Lyft and Uber, said it has expanded it services into three new states. According to HyreCar, it is now operating in Hawaii, Iowa, and Minnesota. HyreCar said the expansion into the new states comes due to "growing demand" by local drivers in those markets. HyreCar says it is now operating in 35 states across the United States.

Viasat Extends In Flight Wireless Deal With Honeywell
Carlsbad-based Viasat, which offers up in-flight wireless and other satellite services, said it has linked with Honeywell, to offer up in-flight Internet services to the business aircraft market. According to the two, Honeywell will offer up Viasat's high-speed, Ka-band in-flight internet services as part of Honeywell's GoDirect Cabin Connectivity suite of services.
