Next West Coast SpaceX Mission Scheduled For Wednesday
Fans of Hawthorne, California-based rocket and spacecraft developer SpaceX have another opportunity to catch a launch in San Luis Obispo, as SpaceX attempts to launch three Earth observation satellites on Wednesday. The launch--currently scheduled for 7:17 a.m. PDT on Wednesday--will place the Radarsat Constellation Mission into space for the Canadian government. Those satellites are being used for monitoring of maritime conditions, for responding to disasters, and other imaging efforts. The launch is scheduled for Launchpad SLC-4E at Vandenberg.
