Nolan Bushnell Target Of #MeToo Protests After GDC Award
Nolan Bushnell, the Los Angeles-based founder of Atari--who is also a very active angel investor in Los Angeles and other companies--is the target of a protest after he was recognized by the Game Developers Conference with the "Pioneer Award". The protests come as a result of Bushnell's bragging in a book about holding board meetings in a hot tub, and trying to get attractive female employees to join them, among other in appropriate conduct in Atari's early days.
