nStor Licenses InoStor RAID

Poway-based InoStor announced that disk array maker nStor has licensed the company's RAIDn data protection technology for incorporation into nStor's NexStor 4700S series of storage systems. InoStor's RAIDn technology is a software library for implementing data protection across an array of disk drives, used for protecting against random, multiple drive failures. nStor's disk arrays are targeted at small to medium sized businesses. nStor is hoping the added features will help further differentiate the company's array from the rest of the competitive disk array market.
