Numecent Lands $13.6M For Cloud Software Technology
Irvine-based Numecent has raised $13.6M in a funding round, the firm announced today, for its "cloudpaging" software, which helps deliver Microsoft Windows applications into the cloud. According to Numecent, the funding was led by T-Venture, the venture capital arm of Deutsche Telekom. Numecent, which is led by Osman Kent, said that its cloudpaging technology makes it easy to deliver any, Microsoft Windows application via the cloud, converting those apps into software-as-a-service. The firm is targeting independent software vendors (ISVs), managed service providers, enterprise customers, and telcos with its tools. Numecent is also backed by Endeavor Ventures. More information »
