Oversee.net Sells Off DomainFest
Los Angeles-based Oversee.net has sold off its flagship, domain name industry conference, DomainFest, as the compny continues to diversify away from its roots in the domain name management market. DomainFest has been acquired by Namescon, which operates the domain name conference of the same name, according to Namescon, which had announced the deal to DomainFest attendees last week. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Namescon said it has incorporated Domainfest into a day at its Las Vegas event, under the name DomainFest@Namescon. DomainFest had in recent years featured such major keynotes as Kim Kardashian, Steve Wozniak, Tony Hsieh, Gary Vaynerchuk, Biz Stone (Twitter), and Bob Parsons (GoDaddy). Domainfest had been produced by DomainSponsor, which Oversee.net had sold to Rook Media in April of last year.
