Particle Sizing Systems Acquired By Agilent
Santa Barbara-based Particle Sizing Systems, a developer of instruments for measuring the particle size and stability of materials, has been acquired by electronic test equipment maker Agilent. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Agilent, the acquisition will expand the firm's portfolio of particle analysis solutions. Particle Sizing Systems' products are used for measuring particle size in materials, and are used for measuring particles in soft drinks,inkjet inks and semiconductor polishing slurries. According to Agilent, most of Particle Sizing Systems' 37 employees will join the firm.
