Pathway Genomics Names SBA's Barreto As Advisor

San Diego-based medical diagnostics and health applications developer Pathway Genomics said this morning that it has added former U.S. Small Business Administration head Hector Barreto to its Strategic Advisory Board. Pathway said that Barreto specifically will help the company with closing the healthcare disparity gap in Latino populations. Pathway Genomics develops a specific cancer test aimed at helping target cancer variants found in Mexican-Americans and possibly other Latino populations.
