PC Mall Buys IT Provider
Torrance-based PC Mall said this morning that it ha agreed to acquire SARCOM, an IT solutions provider, in a deal worth $55M. PC Mall, which sells hardware and software to businesses and consumers, said that the deal is made up of $47.5M in cash plus $7.5M in stock. According to PC MAll, SARCOM will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of PC Mall, and the deal is expected to close in Q3 of this eyar. SARCOM is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and had approximately $248M in revenues for the year ended December 31, 2006. SARCOM serves the enterprise and mid-market corporate clients, healthcare organizations, professional firms, and government, education and non-profit organizations.
