Peerless Cuts Staff
El Segundo-based Peerless Systems, a developer of imaging, networking, and printing technology, said last night that it has cut 20 positions company-wide, as the firm looks to better match its resources with its current level of contract activity. Peerless said in a statement that longer-term OEM demand for its core technologies may be software than expected, and that it is looking to mitigate the issues by exploring new sectors in the imaging industry. Peerless develops print engines used by manufacturers of copiers, printers, and other multifunction office products.
