Power-One Licenses Technology to Murat
Camarillo-based Power-One, a designer of power supplies and power conversion products, said today that it has agreed to transfer a license to Murata. The license covers POwer-One's Z-One digital power management products, and was part of a purchase of C and D Technologies by Murata. C and D, based in Pennsylvania, sold its power management group to Murata in August. Power-One said that Murata has joined the company's Z-Alliance group, which consists of companies who manufacture and promote the firm's Z-One digital power management technology. Power-One designs power supply products used by telecommunications and other electronics manufacturers.
