Procore Buys Honest Buildings
Carpinteria-based Procore Technologies, the very fast growing developer of construction management software led by Tooey Courtemanche, has acquired Honest Buildings, a developer of project management software for owners and developers, the company said on Tuesday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Procore, the move will help it accelerate its efforts. Honest Buildings develops software which helps manage construction products, and counts such clients as Brookfield, Oxford Properties Group, and EQ Office, Blackstone’s U.S. office portfolio company. According to Procore, the over 100 team members of Honest Buildings will join the company. Honest Buildings is based in New York City, and was founded in 2012; Procore said the acquisition will help it expand its New York City presence.
