Qualcomm: Class Action Suit Dismissed
San Diego-based Qualcomm said this morning that the firm has been granted a motion to dismiss a consumer, class action lawsuit against the firm. The company said the United States District Court for the Southern District of California has granted the firm's motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit from Christopher Lorenzo, which had claimed antitrust violations and unfair competition by the company. According to Qualcomm, the judge found that the allegations in the compliant did not give Lorenzo any right to compensation from the firm under California's unfair competition law.
