Qualcomm Life Invests In Wireless Healthcare Firm
San Diego-based Qualcomm Life, the wireless health-focused subsidiary of Qualcomm, reported today that it has made an investment in wireless healthcare startup AirStrip Technologies. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed. Qualcomm Life said the investment comes on top of the firm's existing portfolio of investments in Sotera Wireless, Te. lcare, AliveCor, Cambridge Temperature Concepts and WorkSmart Labs. AirStrip had announced the strategic investment by Qualcomm earlier this week. AirStrip develops technology which allows for the remote access to patient monitoring data, including heart waveforms, blood pressure, temperature, and other sensors. More information »
