Report: Amazon Plans To Spend $15 Billion On Programming This Year
A report, published over the weekend, says that Amazon is planning to spend around $15 billion on content programming this year, highlighting the company's continuing influence in Hollywood. The Bloomberg report--which called Amazon the "Least Understood Company in Hollywood" says that, although Amazon has been producing TV shows for as long as Netflix, it has "far less to show for it".
