Report: Ring Working On Facial Recognition, Despite Denials

A new report says that Los Angeles-based RingThe report, from Buzzfeed, claims that Ring has a group of researchers in the Ukraine, including a "head of face recognition research", despite its long public stance that it does not use facial recognition technology. Ring--which is owned by Amazon--has drawn criticism for cozying up to law enforcement and making it easy for departments to gain access to Ring camera footage, even without a warrant.
