Reunion.com Relaunches As MyLife
Los Angeles-based MyLife, the latest effort of former GreatDomains.com and Reunion.com CEO Jeffrey Tinsley, said today that it has launched its new people search service. The firm--which is the result of the merger of Reunion.com and Wink in November--said it will provide a source for people search, including searching of social networking sites and other online sites. Among features of the new people search service is a "unified profile" which keeps track of social networking web site profiles and presents them in a single profile, pulling information from sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and MySpace into a single location. The new site also includes contact suggestions, ability to see who is searching for you, and search alerts. Wink -- which was backed by Cambrian Ventures and Greylock Partners -- started as a people search engine specifically targeting search of online social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others. Reunion.com (now MyLife) is venture backed with $25M in investments from Oak Investment Partners.
