RFaxis Bolsters Advisory Board
Irvine-based RFaxis, a semiconductor firm headed by Mike Neshat, and focused on the RF semiconductor market, said this week that it has added Professor Hongliang Hu to its board of advisors. RFaxis said Professor Hu is the "founder" of China's semiconductor industry, having served as Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co., Ltd. and a founder of China's first semiconductor fabrication facility, the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC). Hu is now Chairman of the Shanghai Data Solution Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Affairs Consultative Committee and Chairman of the Pudong Information Infrastructure Development Research Consulting Center. Neshat said the addition of Hu will help it expand its presence and production capacity in China.
