Rhubarb Studios Launches Drought Hackathon At Downtown Incubator
Los Angeles-based Rhubarb Studios, a new startup accelerator and incubator downtown, has announced a weekend long "hackathon" focused on figuring out solutions to California's drought. According to Rhubarb Studios, it will host a 48-hour hackathon from August 21s to 23rd in its Hack for Humanity, to allow hackers, makers, and problem solvers to invent technology and solutions to address the water crisis. Rhubarb Studios is led by Cauri Jaye. Rhubarb Studios said the hackathon is being supported by Mayor Garcetti.
