Ripe Digital Entertainment Raises $32M
Los Angeles-based Ripe Digital Entertainment, a firm that is developing digital television products and video-on-demand services, said today that it has raised $32M in a Series B funding round. The round came from Hearst-Argyle, Time Warner Investments, Columbia Capital, and Rho Ventures. Ripe Digital Entertainment said that the capital will be used to build its broadband and mobile strategy, and accelerate the development of its measurable advertising platform. Ripe Digital provides video-on-demand for cable TV, broadband, and mobile to Time Warner and Comcast cable subscribers. More information »
