Rocket Lab Sets Return To Launches

Long Beach-based Rocket Lab said this week that it plans to return to launching rockets, after a conclusion of an "etensive review" of the loss of one of its missions. Accoring to the company, it plans to launch a mission during a launch window that opens on November 28th, 2023, and extends into December. The launch of its Electron rocket will be for Earth imaging company iQPS(Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc.), a Japanese company. The company is recovering from the loss of its 41st Electron mission on September 19th, saying it believes the failure is due to an "unexpected electrical arc" within its power supply system, which shorted the battery packs that provide power to its launch vehicle's second stage.
