Rocket Lab Shifts Window For Next Launch
Huntington Beach-based satellite launch rocket developer Rocket Lab has set the launch window for its next rocket mission, saying last week that its next launch will occur between June 23rd and July 6th. The company says the mission--called "It's Business Time"--was moved after "unusual behavior" was detected in a motor controller in its rocket. The mission originally had been planned to happen between April 20th and May 3rd. The company is hoping to launch a number of small satellites, including satellites from Spire GLobal, GeoOptics, a "drag sail" experiment from High Performance Space Structure Systems GmBH, plus an educational payload, IRVINE01, which was built by the Irvine CubeSat STEM Program (ICSP).
