Saban Capital Opens Office In Singapore
Los Angeles-based media and communications investor Saban Capital Group announced Thursday that it has opened up an office in Singapore. The investment group--headed by Haim Saban, the head of Univision---said it has five investments in the region, Media Nusantara Citra, MNC Sky Vision, Celestial Tiger Entertainment, Taomee, and Global Mediacom. The new office is headed by Sumeet Jaisinghani, who was previously in Hong Kong. Saban's technology holdings include mobile games firm The Playforge and kid's online site Zui.
