Second Sight Medical Names New Chairman

Sylmar-based Second Sight Medical Products, which develops implantable visual prosthetics for blind patients, said this morning that it has named Gregg Williams as Chairman of the company's board of directors. The firm said Williams is the company's largest shareholder, and is a current member of its board. Second Sight said its past Chairman, Dr. Robert "Bob" Greenberg, will remain a member of the board. Greenberg had served as Chairman since August of 2015. Wliliams has been on Second Sight's board since 2009.
