Semtech Gets Wireless Module Win
Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Semtech said this morning that it has partnered with wireless product company Link Labs, on a radio transceiver modules. According to the company, Link Labs has launched a low power, bidirectional radio modules for the 915 MHz ISM band and 868 MHz frequency band, which uses Semtech's LoRa long distance radio transceiver technology. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed, nor were shipping volumes. The technology is aimed at smart meters, sensor networks, and the industrial control, security, and automation market.
