Sendgrid Suspends Neo Nazi Site, Following Google, GoDaddy
Sendgrid, the email back-end services company which has a major operation in Irvine, has joined Google and GoDaddy in suspending services to the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer, after user complaints. GoDaddy, the original hosting service for The Daily Stormer, suspended the site's registration and account yesterday for violations of its terms of service, after The Daily Stormer posted an article celebrating the death of the victim of the attack in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend. The Daily Stormer then attempted to move its hosting to Google, which immediately suspended that move yesterday. Sendgrid was also joined by Zoho in dropping The Daily Stormer as a customer. Both GoDaddy and Google also have offices and major operations in Los Angeles.
