Sharp Ships 3D Display
Huntington Beach-based Sharp Systems of America said today that it is shipping a new 3D graphics display. The company's LL-151-3D display provides 3D images without the requirement for glasses, and works in both 2D and 3D mode. The monitor provides a different image to each eye when a user is centered in front of the monitor. The company is targeting drug discovery, medical imaging, dental, GIS, and other markets, including entertainment. The new monitor has an estimated street price of $1499.
