Skinit, Photobucket Tie On Personalized Skins
San Diego-based Skinit, a provider of personalized electronic "skins", has inked a deal with photo sharing site Photobucket, the firm said today. SkinIt said that the two firms have teamed up to allow users of Photobucket to transfer their images direct to Skinit.com. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Skinit allows users to user their own photos to create "skins" for electronic devices like phones, laptops, and MP3 players. The firms said that electronic device skins personalized with images from Photobucket will start at $19.95.
