Snap Picks Up Head Of U.S. Secret Service
Venice, California-based Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, is hiring on the former head of the U.S. Secret Service. U.S. Secret Service Director James Murray is stepping down from his position, according to an announcement from the White House. Murray becomes Chief Security Officer at Snap Inc. at the beginning of August, according to reports, with Murray directly reporting to Snap CEO and co-founder Evan Spiegel. It's unclear what Murray's responsibilities as Chief Security Officer will entail at Snap.
