Sonos Ties Into Music Streaming Service Wolfgang's Vault
Santa Barbara-based Sonos, the developer of user-friendly, multi-room wireless music systems, said today that it has has linked with Wolfgang's Vault, a music streaming service provider focused on live concerts. According to Sonos, it is now offering a 30-day trial to Wolfgang's Vault, starting today. Business terms between the firms was not disclosed. Sonos said that Wolfgang's Vault is accessible via its Sonos Controller in the "More Music" section. Wolfgang's Vault has concerts from such artists as Bob Dylan, Elton John, the Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett, Pink Floyd, U2, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, The Who and others from the last 50 years, and offers an annual membership of $48. Sonos is backed by BV Capital and Index Ventures.
