Sootchy Dangles $40K For College

Los Angeles-based college savings app developer Sootchy/a>, which is developing a way for families to save money for their children's education through 529 savings plans, says it will give away $40,000 to one winner for use in a college savings, K-12 education expense, or to pay off existing student loans. The company--which has yet to launch, but says it will by this fall--says the sweepstakes only requires users to enter general contact info, but that users can earn additional chances of winning by sending out referrals to others. Sootchy is led by CEO David Adefeso.
