SpaceX Dragon Returns Successfully From ISS
A SpaceX Dragon capsule--loaded with experiments, trash, and other assorted items from the International Space Station--has successfully splashed down in the Pacific, according to SpaceX. The SpaceX Dragon--which has been docked at the ISS for the last month--departed the ISS on Sunday at around 2 am, and finally returned to earth at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday morning. The return marks the end of the 12th mission to and from the International Space Station for SpaceX. SpaceX did not say when it expects the return of the Dragon to Los Angeles, but it typically returns the Dragon capsules through Long Beach.
