SpaceX Launch Of Zuma on Track For Sunday Evening
The launch of the mysterious "Zuma" payload, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, is still on tap for Sunday, 8:00 pm. EST, according to the SpaceX website, which will be broadcasting a live feed of the launch. According to SpaceX, the next backup launch window for the Zuma payload will open at 8:00 p.m. EST on Monday, January 8. SpaceX, as well as the un-named, U.S. government customer behind the payload, have not provided any details on what exactly is being put into space by the mystery launch. SpaceX said that it will attempt to land the first stage of the Falcon 9 used in the launch at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Livestream embedded below.
