SpaceX Planning Another Try On Starlink Satellite Launch Today
SpaceX, which is in the midst of attempting to launch 60 satellites into space, said that it will try again today to launch its first set of Starlink communications satellites into space today at 10:30 p.m. EDT. SpaceX scrubbed the original launch on Wednesday, due to excess upper level winds. SpaceX is launching the 60 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The sixty Starlink communicatinos satellites are the first of what are expected to be thousands of low earth orbit satellites which SpaceX is planning to deploy, to provide broadband Internet service anywhere on the globe. The SpaceX Falcon being used in the launch has already been used twice--once for the Telstar 18 VANTAGE mission in September 2018 and the second for the Iridium-8 mission in January 2019.
