SpaceX Sets To Deliver Spacecraft To The Moon For Israeli Group
Hawthorne, California-based rocket launch provider SpaceX may be looking to deliver its own spacecraft to Mars, however, in the meantime, it's now set to deliver a spacecraft to the Moon for a nonprofit group in Israel. SpaceIL, which is developing an unmanned spacecraft specifically designed to land on the moon, says it has booked a ride in December on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. SpaceIL has develops a large, 4-legged unmanned spacecraft for landing on the Moon. If successful, the spacecraft would be the first from Israel to reach the Moon. SpaceIL sas it plans to launch in December, for a landing on the moon on February 13, 2019.
