SpaceX To Try Falcon Heavy Launch Again Today
Hawthorne-based SpaceX is hoping to launch another rocket, this time a Falcon Heavy, from Florida, later today, after high atmospheric winds scrubbed a launch attempt on Wednesday. According to SpaceX, it is now targeting a launch of Thursday, April 11th with a launch window of 6:35 p.m. EDT for the Arabsat-6A satellite. The satellite is being launched from the NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida, from Launch Complex 39A. Arabsat-6A is a high capacity telecommunications satellite which will cover the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. SpaceX will attempt to land both side boosters for the Falcon Heavy on land at Cape Canaveral, and the center core on the "Of Course I Still Love You" drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
