SpaceX Tries Again On GovSat-1 Launch
Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX is set for another try on it latest satellite launch, the launch of a geosynchronous satellite for GovSat. According to SpaceX, GovSat-1 is set to launch at 4:25pm EST on Wednesday, January 31st, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40). The launch had been delayed from Tuesday, due to a sensor issue. According to SpaceX, the GovSat-1 satellite includes X-band and Military Ka-band capacity, and will enable secure communication links. SpaceX is webcasting the launch online.
