Swift Tactical Systems Deploys In Japan
San Clemente-based Swift Tactical Systems, a developer of unmanned aerial vehicle technology, says it has completed a personnel search and rescue and animal identification missions as part of a contract with Okayama Prefecture in Japan. According to the company, its systems were able to detect "high value targets" in minutes versus days in the feasibility study in Japan. The company said its teams, along with Japanese counterpart Swift-Xi, were able to run advanced search and rescue missions in dense forests within the Okayama Prefecture in Japan, using its night vision cameras and air vehicles.
