Swoogo Snags Exec From Google

Los Angeles-based Swoogo, which develops event management software, said today that it has added Sam Harkness as the company's SVP of Partnerships. Swoogo recently raised $20M in a Series B funding from Bain Capital and others. Harkness was previously Head of Partnership at Google Cloud, and prior to that was Director of Strategic Alliances at Looker, before Looker was acquired by Google. The company said that Harkness will oversee its global partner ecosystem.
