System1, Owner of MapQuest, Buys RoadWarrior

Marina Del Rey-based System1, which owns consumer mapping service MapQuest, says it has acquired RoadWarrior, a subscription app which provides route planning tools for "gig economy" drivers. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to System1, it will enhance RoadWarrior's product, by using its B2B APIs and its own route planning tools to a new, premium subscription product.
