Tealium Gets $1.1M
San Diego-based Tealium, a startup developing software which automatically loads tags onto web pages, said Tuesday that it has raised $1.1M in its Series A financing. The round came from angels Jeff Lunsford (Limelight Networks), Jim MacIntyre (Visual Sciences/WebSideStory), Joe Apprendi (Collective), John Vincent (EyeWonder), and Thomas Falk (eValue Group). Tealium said it has created a product which handles enterprise tag management, which is used to improve the performance of e-commerce web sites by handling the placement of "tags"-used for affiliate tracking and web analytics.
